Privacy notice

Last updated: 4 September 2026

11+ Compass provides online learning for families. This notice explains how we use personal data under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

We collect a parent account identifier, child profile name and learning data such as answers, progress, rewards and mock results. We collect voice audio or transcripts only when a learner chooses voice practice. We do not ask children for precise location, contacts, advertising identifiers or unnecessary sensitive data.

Why we use it

We use data to provide the service, personalise teaching, save progress, protect accounts, process subscriptions through Stripe, and respond to support requests. We use the minimum data needed and do not sell it or use children’s learning data for targeted advertising.

Children and parents

The parent is the account holder and controls child profiles. Please do not enter a child’s full name or other information that is not needed. Parents can ask for access, correction, export or deletion through the account support channel. We will verify the requester before disclosing child data.

Service providers and retention

We use trusted providers for hosting, authentication, AI processing, payments and email. They may process data only to provide those services. We retain account and billing records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting and security obligations, then delete or anonymise them.

International transfers and rights

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we use an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
